The Mandate

OneBalance started as a small research team with ambitious goals in chain abstraction and developer tooling. They faced a scarcity of backend engineers with protocol depth and needed to establish a senior leadership spine capable of executing at venture scale.

Strategy

We prioritized a 'Leadership First' strategy, placing the CTO, Head of Product, and Marketing Lead immediately to set the technical standards and narrative. To align incentives, Node & Vector took part of our fee as equity, sharing in the long-term upside.
