The Mandate
Analog is building a Layer-0 for time data. This required a niche mix of cryptography (ZKP) and consensus mechanism design. Standard 'full stack' developers were insufficient for the level of mathematical rigor required. They needed researchers who could code, not just developers who could learn math.
Strategy
We executed a highly targeted headhunting campaign to identify and secure experienced Rust engineers, ZK specialists, and applied cryptographers. We focused on extracting top-tier talent from leading protocols, prioritizing candidates who possessed both the deep mathematical rigor required for zero-knowledge proofs and the practical engineering skills to ship production-grade Substrate code.
